Delivery of The Daily Review may be late next week as the newspaper begins a complete software overhaul and upgrade of the newspaper’s computer systems.

“We have completed our hardware upgrades and will tackle software applications next week,” Daily Review publisher Allan Von Werder said. “Our software ranges from five to 15 years old and it is past time to upgrade,” he said.

“While the hardware upgrades were not disruptive, software upgrades can often disrupt entire network functions if something goes wrong, causing delays. The upgrade process should be finished by next Wednesday and we ask our customers to please bear with us as we take the necessary steps to improve our product,” Von Werder said.
