Entombment was in Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
Rev. Daniel Edwards, pastor of St. Jules Catholic Church, was celebrant of the funeral Mass and conducted the funeral services. Jodi Bollich, organist and soloist, sang for the services “Hail Mary, Gentle Woman,” “J‘irai la voir un jour,” “Pie Jesu” and “One Bread, One Body.”
Survivors include one sister, Ann Daigle and her husband Andrew; one uncle, Whitney Thibodaux; one niece, Tina Pekar and her husband Steve; one great-niece, Zsofia Rose Pekar; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Halley and Rosie M. Ficaro Thibodaux; and one sister, Carol Virginia Thibodaux.
A native of Morgan City and resident of Lafayette for most of her life, Miss Thibodaux was a loving sister, niece, aunt, great-aunt and friend to all who knew her. She was a member of the St. Jules Catholic Church community and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Miss Thibodaux will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
