Roy Patterson, 67, a native and resident of Franklin, died at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday in Amelia.

Visitation will be Tuesday at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Johnson Patterson of Franklin; two sons, Reginald Patterson of Kenner and Brian Druilhet of Sioux City, Iowa; two daughters, Rochelle Patterson of Baton Rouge and Bridget Joseph of Beaumont, Texas; six sisters, Barbara Jenkins, Ruth Lightfoot, Linda Nerve, Evelyn Bell, Cheryl Moton and Cindy Lightfoot, all of Franklin; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
