Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Queen Chloe Felterman attended the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians Mardi Gras events Jan. 30 to Feb. 2 in Washington, D.C. Bottom photo is Felterman at the Feb. 2 ball. “I cannot say enough about this event,” said Felterman. “I visited the capital where I met Congressman Boustany, I watched the king and queen of the Mystick Krewe present a Mardi Gras wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and I was presented at two balls and was humbled when I realized that the crowd was not cheering for me … they were cheering for the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival and all of the people of the Tri-City area.”
