S&P queen attends D.C. Mardi Gras events

ALLI LYNNE LANDRY, 76th Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival queen was invited to participate in the Mystick Krewe of Lousianians Mardi Gras celebration Feb. 9-11 in Washington, D.C. While in Washington, she toured the nation’s capital where she was greeted by U.S. Rep. Jeff Landry (top photo), attended a tea at the home of U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, and attended the Mystick Krewe’s Gala where she was presented as the 76th Shrimp and Petroleum Festival queen and was greeted by State Sen. Bret Allain (middle photo). On Feb. 11, she attended the krewe’s Mardi Gras Ball where she was presented to krewe’s royal court and congratulated newly crowned Mystick Queen Jayne Champagne (right in bottom photo).
