A Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, November 5, 2012, at 11 a.m., at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin for Mrs. Sadie Chauvin Concienne, 91, a native and resident of Franklin, who passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at 2:15 p.m. at the Franklin Health Care Center.

Burial followed in the Franklin Cemetery. Fr. Lloyd Benoit officiated the services.

Survivors include her children, Timothy “Tim” Concienne of Franklin; Kim “Skeeter” Concienne and his wife, Beverly, of Franklin; and Kay C. Jenicek of Franklin; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Concienne; two daughters, Corliss Concienne and Judy Prados; one grandson, Donald Prados Jr.; her parents, Allie and Odile Romaire Chauvin; three brothers, Roy, Allie and Gerald Chauvin; and two sisters, Rosemary Chauvin Concienne and Grace Chauvin Thibodeaux.

A gathering of family and friends was held at the Church of Assumption on Monday, November 5, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
