Steven James Sanford, 50, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011at his residence.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 7 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m.
Steven leaves to mourn five brothers, Curtis Haynes Sr. (Lillian) of Virginia, Wayne Haynes Sr. of Houma, Richard Haynes Sr., (Nancy) of Port Arthur, Texas, Cleave Sanford II (Kate) of Shreveport and Brian Sanford Sr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; six sisters, Janet Smith of Baton Rouge, Treasure Singleton (Roderick) and Kathy Sanford, both of Shreveport, Vernell Jones (Burt) of Virginia, Alma Ulmer of Gautier, Mississippi and Leslie Sanford of Dallas, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, one aunt, an uncle, a brother, one cousin and a nephew.
