The Patterson Cypress Sawmill Festival will present its Little Miss and Master Sawblade pageant March 18 at the Patterson Area Civic Center.

Pageant officials accidentally provided old pageant information stating that a $50 savings bond would be awarded. That information was incorrect. No saving bonds will be awarded.

Division for girls are 0-11 months, 12-23 months, 2-year-olds, 3-4-year-olds, 5-6-year-olds, 7-8-year-olds, 9-10-year-olds and 11-13-year-olds. Boys divisions are 0-23-months and 2-4-year-olds.

Entry fee is $45 for beauty and $5 for photogenic.

Photogenic entries must supply one picture at the pageant (not by mail) no larger than 8-by-10 in color or black and white.

There are no deadlines or late fees for this pageant. Entries may be submitted in person the day of the pageant or days prior to the pageant mailed to: Patterson Cypress Sawmill Festival, 145 Polaris St., Morgan City, LA 70380. Checks, payable to PCSF, should be included.

The king and queen in each division will be awarded an official crown, monogrammed banner, festival T-shirt, ride bracelet and trophy.

First through third alternates receive an official flame trophy and festival T-shirt. Photogenic and fashion winners receive a banner.

Participants are to wear Sunday best. Absolutely no pageant or formal wear is allowed.

PCSF will be held March 30 through April 1 at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson.

Admission to watch the pageant is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
