CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS of the Americas Court of Assumption #1672 Franklin recently named its scholarship winners for 2011. Winners pictured from left above are Carolyn Higdon, senior; Christian Glorioso, senior and Tanner Guillotte, eighth grader. All three students attend Hanson Memorial High School. Carolyn is the daughter of John and Sheri Higdon of Centerville. She plans to attend LSU in the fall to major in theater management. Christian is the son of Neile Lorenzo and Chris Glorioso of Franklin. He plans to attend LSU in the fall to major in mass communications. He was also named a state scholarship winner and has received an additional check from the Louisiana State Catholic Daughters Court. Tanner is the daughter of Kevin and Tammy Guillotte of Franklin and will be entering Hanson this year as a freshman.
