The St. Mary Parish School Board will meet Thursday to consider funding various projects across the parish.

Among those up for consideration are the District III Promethean Board capital project and those to be discussed at a District I Maintenance Committee meeting to be held prior to the regular meeting.

On that committee meeting agenda are baseball light pole replacement at West St. Mary High School and the review of bids for an air conditioning project at Franklin High School. The committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the board room.

Also on the agenda for the 5 p.m. regular meeting are items allowing employment of teaching personnel and setting the calendar for the coming school year.

The parish students of the year will be announced as will the students and employees of the month.

The meeting will be held at the Central Office Complex in Centerville and is open to the public.
