RUSTON – Students and other residents are beating the bushes in search of Louisiana Tech’s missing mascot.

Tech XX, a four-year-old English bulldog, disappeared at sundown Sunday after let out at a clinic for his evening constitution.

The clinic owner said the dog wasn’t outside five minutes before an aide checked on him and found him gone.

He said Tech XX prefers the indoors so it came as a surprise that he was gone.

Searchers are using fliers and social networks trying to find the dog and get him safely returned.

I guess we know the answer to the question: Who Let the Dogs Out???! The real question is why everyone is assuming that the dog was stolen. If you leave a dog outside alone, it is going to run off and chase whatever it hears or sees. It's an animal. I hope they find it but I think they're barking up the wrong tree. - Brendan Spaar
