The crowds turned out despite the heat and humidity Saturday to enjoy and support the “Promenade d’art de Franklin.” During the show, a student jazz quartet from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts was performing outdoors in central downtown. Some of the participants this year were, from top, Becky Clements, hosted by Four Seasons Furniture and Appliances; Suhayla Chirdon, at Acadiana Job Works; Emmanuell Landry and Chelsea Touchet, both at the Kramer Building. It was the second art walk in Franklin, with double the participation this year.
