METAIRIE – A security guard is charged with planting a camera in a ladies rest room at an office building here.

Jefferson Parish deputies said Frank D. Hill, Jr., 45, is charged with 16 counts of video voyeurism.

The sheriff’s department received a complaint from Hill’s employer last week after it seized the camera and a computer.

The camera was in a restroom at Heritage Plaza office building on Veterans Boulevard from Feb. 1-Feb. 23 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., deputies said.

The device, they said, was hidden inside a coat hook.

Hill allegedly confessed to putting it in the room.
