ST. MARY COUNCIL ON AGING’S Board of Directors Members Verline Keenze, Cathy Broussard and EmmaDel Broussard are pictured above as they plan the upcoming function “A Grand Tribute.” The family event will take place on Sunday, September 11 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Bayou Vista Community Center. The event will remember the ten-year anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, honor grandparents on Grandparents Day, celebrate the 34th anniversary of St. Mary Council on Aging and give participants the opportunity to meet the candidates for upcoming parish elections. Featured will be music, refreshments, games and door prizes for an afternoon of fun.
