Steven Gray, 28, of Hunting Lane, Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 11:32 a.m. on a warrant for failure to register as a convicted sex offender.
Gray was located by the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and turned over to St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office. According to the state Sex Offender Registry, Gray was convicted in May 2002 of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
He was booked into the parish jail where he remained incarcerated this morning with no bond set.
