—Mar’keisha A. Hamilton, 18, of Francis Lane, Patterson, was arrested at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday on six warrants from the Franklin Police Department for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, no driver’s license, two counts simple criminal damage to property, simple battery, leaving the scene of an accident and careless operation of a motor vehicle. She remains jailed with bail not yet set.
—A female juvenile, 14, from Patterson was arrested at her residence at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday for simple battery. She is alleged to have punched an adult male during an altercation. She was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
—A male juvenile, 15, from Patterson was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the sheriff’s office in Morgan City on a warrant for cruelty to animals. The juvenile, accompanied by a guardian, turned himself in. The warrant stems from an investigation into the juvenile shooting a cat with a bow-and-arrow. He was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
The Berwick Police Department reported one arrest overnight, according to Chief James Richard:
—Stewart West Sr., 35, Guzzetta Drive, Berwick, was arrested at the police station at 6:41 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for simple battery. He turned himself in and was released on $250 bail.
The Morgan City Police Department reported the following arrests overnight, according to Assistant Chief Glenn Blanco:
—Brennan Bergeron, 17, of Walnut Drive, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday for contempt of court. He remains jailed with bail not yet set.
—Troy Jones, 27, of James Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. Wednesday on Railroad Avenue for driving under suspension, no vehicle insurance, headlight violation and a hold from the Patterson Police Department for unpaid traffic tickets. He remains jailed with a $708 bail.
—Christian Calamie, 44, of Harvard Avenue, Terrytown, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Victor II Boulevard and Greenwood Street for driving while intoxicated second offense, careless operation of a motor vehicle and driving under suspension. He refused to take the sobriety test and the intoxilyzer test. He remains incarcerated with bail not yet set.
The Patterson Police Department reported there were no arrests overnight, according to Chief Patrick M. LaSalle.
