A crew worked on the front of the former Cannata’s building Monday in a shopping center along U.S. 90 in Bayou Vista. The building is being renovated for the opening of a Save-A-Lot. The new grocery store will offer savings on discount groceries. The store is expected to open at the beginning of August.
