The relocation and new building of Dollar General in Patterson is rapidly approaching completion. The new location is on Catherine Street, across from Patterson State Bank. Bradford Building Co. of Birmingham, Ala., is the head contractor for the building. Slade Landry Construction of Jeanerette is the subcontractor handling concrete work for $218,000. Construction began in late November with a completion date of Jan. 31.
