In the boys’ game, Victor Cerritos scored the lone goal in the 43rd minute.
The squad had opportunities to add to its lead but couldn’t knock the ball in the back of the net.
On the girl’s side, the two South Terrebonne goals were scored on defensive errors by the Lady Tigers.
“In a game that we possessed more and outshot more, and for that mater, controlled the game more, we lost this due to our own bad habits,” MCHS coach Trevor Patterson said.
Sarah Patterson scored the lone Lady Tiger goal in the 23rd minute on a free kick.
“We should have had many more goals, but our forwards were just not there,” Patterson said.
Both squads will return to action Friday evening when they travel to face Central Lafourche.
