Ronald St. Amand and Faye St. Amand of Opelousas wish to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rhonda F. St. Amand to Blake T. Bourgeois Jr.

The bride-elect is a graduate of both Northwest High School and Louisiana Technical College in Opelousas. She is currently employed with Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Opelousas.

The prospective groom is the son of Trudy P. and Blake T. Bourgeois Sr. of Franklin. He is a graduate of Hanson Memorial High School, Tulane University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is currently employed with University Medical Center in Lafayette.

The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, January 28 at 7 p.m. at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas.
