Leadership St. Mary

Co-Chair

Participants in the second Leadership St. Mary class have completed three of the seven day-long sessions scheduled for the program this year. The class has taken part in a parish-wide history tour, a presentation titled “Understanding Self and Moving Into Alignment” by Greg Young and Tony Dickinson and visited local industrial and agricultural sites including New Industries, Oceaneering, Cabot and the St. Mary Co-Op sugar mill. The group also was able to hear from representatives of Dugas Oil and North American Salt.

In the upcoming January session, they will meet with local educators and tour selected schools while learning about current successes and challenges in our public school system. They will visit the Young Memorial Campus and Marine Training facility.

Leadership St. Mary is a program of the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce. The chamber and Leadership St. Mary class of 2013 would like to thank New Industries, Cameron and Teche Regional Medical Center for sponsoring the program.

To learn more about becoming a participant or getting your business or organization involved with the program, contact the chamber at 985-384-3830, or visit Facebook at www.facebook/leadershipstmary.com.
