Mr. and Mrs. Donelson Palfrey Stiel Sr. and Mrs. Cheryl Neumann Kemper of Franklin are pleased to announce the engagement and forth coming marriage of their daughter, Caroline Susan Stiel to Joseph Andrew Strohm, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Daniel Strohm of Oakdale, Louisiana.

Caroline and Andrew will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, in Franklin.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Bernard J. “Bud” and Rosemary Murphy Neunann of Beaumont, Texas and Mrs. Patricia Palfrey Stiel and the late David H. Stiel Jr. of Franklin.

Caroline is a 1999 graduate of Hanson Memorial High School in Franklin. In 2005 she obtained a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in Baton Rouge. Caroline is employed with the office of Dr. J. Matthew Randall in Baton Rouge.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Higdon of Glenmora, Louisiana, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Strohm of Wapakoneta, Ohio.

Andrew is a 1998 graduate of Oakdale High School in Oakdale, Louisiana, and a 2003 graduate from Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, where he obtained a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. Andrew is employed with Burns & Wilcox Underwriting Company in Baton Rouge.

The couple will reside in Baton Rouge following the wedding.
