Summer food program set at city rec centers

The City of Franklin is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be provided at Broussard-Harris Recreation on Fourth Street and City Park Recreation Center on Gum Street. Operating dates and days for both are Monday through Friday, May 29 to July 20, except for July 4. Meals served at both sites are breakfast 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch from noon to 1 p.m.

Meals will be provided to all children without charge. Acceptance and participating requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
