Tyrone “Lil Ty” Walls Jr., 25, a resident of Gray, La., and a native of Houma, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at his residence.

Tyrone was an employee of Carter’s Fencing and Painting.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 29, at Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church, on Smith Lane in Houma, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Southdown Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Stovall will officiate.

Tyrone leaves to cherish his memories his father and stepmother, Tyrone Sr. and Rachel Walls; his mother and stepfather, Janice and Keith Celestin, all of Houma; his maternal grandmother, Karen Dabney of Houma; and his paternal grandfather, Alja Walls of Houma;, his companion, Dashia Queen of Houma; two daughters, Kalisha Walls of Atlanta, Georgia and Chassity Skinner of Houma; one brother, Anthony Walls of Houma; three sisters, Tia Blecher of Houston, Texas, Taylor Walls and Keinta Celestin, both of Houma; and a host of relatives and friends.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his grandfathers, his grandmother, great grandparents, and a cousin.
