Tatoo artists charged with juvenile tongue piercings without parental consent

SHREVEPORT – Two tatoo artists are charged with piercing the tongues of two juvenile girls without the girls’ parents’ consent.

Police alleged that Nicholas Bernard Gobert, 24, of Shreveport, gave both girls, ages 16 and 17, piercings at a Jewella Avenue shop.

They said a third girl shot video of the piercings on a cell phone to share witht he world as they were done.

Jonathan R. Clinton, 31, of Shreveport, the business owner, was present when the girls were pierced and was also arrested.

Both men were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for the illegal tattooing and body piercing of minors.
