The play is being directed by Ricky Pellerin and cast members include Gillian Box, Peyton Ware, Debbie Box, Arthur Louviere and Melvin Coleman.
The story centers around Rynn Jacobs, a 13-year old English girl who lives down a lonely lane in an isolated house that she and her father have rented.
But whenever anybody from the town tries to satisfy their curiosity, Rynn’s father is never around, and it seems as if the girl is all alone. She looks innocent enough, but there is something unnatural and mysterious about her.
To the people who live in this tight-knit community on a bleak East Coast island, she must have something to hide.
Rynn’s resourcefulness is put to the test as several people try to find out what she may be hiding, including the snobby landlady Cora Hallet and her frightening son Frank.
Ron Miglioritti, the local police detective senses something is not right and frequently drops by to check in on Rynn.
Then there’s Mario, a 16-year old lame boy who falls under Rynn’s spell and their poignant love story is the heartbeat of the play. Rynn tells Mario her secret and also what she’s had to do to simply survive.
In the end, Rynn must stand alone against the chilling terror of a predator who has discovered her secret and uses it to control her as the play builds to an almost unbearable climax.
