LEESVILLE – Services are pending for a teenager and his sister killed when he turned in front on an 18-wheeler on La. 28 at La. 121 east of here.

Cody J. Marshal, 17, and Jaden Marshall, 9, were killed in the Tuesday afternoon accident.

State Police said Cody Marshall was driving a pickup north on La. 121 and turned west on La. 28 into the east-bound lanes. After a short distance, he turned right into the west-bound lanes trying to enter La. 121 North.

A rig driven by William Duck, 43, of Lincoln, Ala. struck the pickup.

A 15-year-old passenger in Marshall’s truck was injured.

Police said none of the pickup occupants was wearing a seat belt.
