TERROR BLACK BASEBALL recently won the 12U Major USSS Louisiana state championship this past weekend at Cypress Mounds in Baton Rouge. The squad finished 6-0 for the first-place finish in the field of 26 teams from across the state. The team is based out of Thibodaux but includes youngsters from south Louisiana, including Bradley Gray (kneeling, left) of Berwick. Gray pitches and plays shortstop and third base. Above, the team shows off the rings they received for winning the tournament. The team will play one more tourney before heading for Cooperstown, N.Y., July 13-20, to play at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The squad will be one of 103 teams participating in the New York tournament.
