Chef Brian Blanchard has organized a culinary event featuring six award winning chefs. Blanchard is owner of iMonelli Restaurant, a la carte and River Oaks Catering and Event Center in Lafayette, and Café JoJo’s and NicoBella Catering and Event Center in Morgan City.
Each chef will serve two gold medal dishes to all in attendance.
Patrons will have the opportunity to meet each chef and taste the gold medal dishes.
Chefs and their entrees are:
1. Blanchard.
—Crispy soft-shell crab with balsamic and cane syrup drizzle.
—Oyster Rockefeller bisque.
2. iMonelli Restaurant.
—Seafood crepes topped with roasted pepper cream sauce.
—Puff pastry cup filled with lump crabmeat Chardonnay cream.
3. Richard Boudreaux, executive chef, a la carte Restaurant and River Oaks Catering and Event Center.
—Kibby.
—Stuffed grape leaves.
4. Patrick Poupart, owner/pastry chef, Pouparts Bakery.
—Chocolate Marquis.
—Lemon mousse.
5. Gilbert Decourt, executive chef, Artisan Creative Catering.
—Pork Orloff.
—Shrimp Provencial.
6. Nash Barreca, executive chef, Nash’s Restaurant.
—Crawfish Remoulade.
—Chicken Marsalla.
Tickets are $50 each.
