MORGAN CITY — The Morgan City Tiger Classic will kick off Monday at Morgan City High School.

The eight-team tournament will feature Franklin, South Lafourche, Ellender, Centerville, Jeanerette, Terrebonne, West St. Mary and Morgan City.

Games will be played in the boys’ gym and the Multi-Purpose building.

In the boys’ gym, action will begin with a 5:30 p.m. matchup between Jeanerette and Terrebonne, followed by a 7 p.m. game between Ellender and Centerville.

In the Multi-Purpose building, Franklin and South Lafourche will play at 5:30 p.m., followed by Morgan City and West St. Mary at 7 p.m.

Action will continue through Wednesday with the consolation final set for 3:30 p.m. in the new gym followed by the third-place game at 5 p.m. and the championship game at 6:30 p.m.
