BOYS WINNERS: The members of the Franklin Hornets 4x200 meter relay team of Dijon Bell, Jrevon Anderson, Trey Rouchon and Mark Ruffin broke the tape in the annual Streva Relays with the winning time of 1:32.26. Franklin won the 11th annual Streva Relays held Friday at Louisiana-Lafayette’s Track and Soccer Complex. Franklin won the title with 129.33 points. Franklin Senior High School’s Cedric Paul was named Outstanding Fieldman and Co-Outstanding Performer along with Donovan Jones of New Iberia while FSHS’ Dijon Bell garnered the Outstanding Track honor.

GIRLS WINNERS: Franklin Lady Hornets Wyneisha Jenkins, Robyn Rollins, Destinee Rice and Fabian Small bested the field in the 4x200-meter relay in Catholic High’s 11th annual Streva Relays held Friday at the Louisiana-Lafayette’s Track and Soccer Complex. Franklin captured first place in the 4x200 with a winning time of 1:51.03.
