Tuneweavers, the community chorus of the Tri-Cities, will present “Sing for the Cure” Sunday at 4 p.m. at Twin City Gospel Church, Second and Canton streets in Berwick.

The music will take listeners on a journey through the thoughts and emotions experienced by the victims of cancer and their loved ones.

Among the musical numbers in the show are “Livin’ Out Loud Blues,” the question of “Who Will Curl My Daughter’s Hair?” and the power of “One Voice.”

The program was commissioned by Susan G. Komen for the Cure and designed to be used as a fundraiser for breast cancer research. Donations collected at the show will be given to a local cancer charity.

Also this fall, Tuneweavers will join the “American Spirit” show sponsored by the Community Concert Association of Morgan City in November, and present its annual Christmas concert in December.

Practice for the next two performances will begin Monday at 7 p.m. at 1024 Front Street. Singers interested in joining the group for its fall season should come to Monday’s practice.
