AMITE – Tangipahoa deputies arrested two men as part of a continuing internet child predator sting.

Gregory Stelly, 55, of Sunset and Steven Nauck, Jr., 25, of Hammond allegedly contacted what they believed were minors but were actually cyber space officers.

Stelly is charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Nauck is charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Stelly was arrested after contacting a person that he had reason to believe was a child and initiating sexually explicit conversation and inappropriate contact with “the child.”

Nauck was arrested after arranging to meet a person that he had reason to believe was a child for sexual contact. Nauckis currently on parole for various unrelated convictions.

Detectives from the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office and St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office participated in the sting operation.
