RUSTON – Two unrestrained women drivers were killed in separate Labor Day weekend accidents in north-central Louisiana.

State Police said Lori James, 37, of West Monroe died Friday evening when her Suburban left La. 618 in a curve, rolled over and partially ejected her.

Five children in the vehicle, ranging in age from 9 to 14, received only minor injuries. All but one was belted.

About the same time in Lincoln Parish, Carolyn Morrow, 60, lost control of her pickup on La. 146. It struck an embankment and overturned.
