Mayor Raymond Harris signed two proclamations on Tuesday declaring this week National Health Center Week and World Breastfeeding Week. Harris encourages residents of Franklin to visit their local health center and recognize health centers and the communities they serve. He also calls upon members of the community to support breastfeeding babies and their mothers. A Breastfeeding Fair will be held Friday at Teche Action Clinic from 9-11 a.m. Pictured seated above from left are Harris and Teche Action Clinic Executive Assistant Alfreida Edwards.
