University of Louisiana Lafayette's B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration has an outstanding business school, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features the school in the new 2012 edition of its book, The Best 294 Business Schools on sale now.

The MBA program was also featured in The Princeton Review's 2011 edition of The Best 300 Business Schools.

"This honor is a direct result of the work ethic and academic excellence of our students and our teachers. It is a reflection of their efforts to create an effective and outstanding program," said Robert Viguerie, associate dean and MBA director in the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration.

Business schools in the book are selected based academic programs and offerings, as well as a review of institutional data collected from the schools. The opinions of students, who rate and report on their campus experiences, are also considered in the selection process.

The Best 294 Business Schools: 2012 Edition has two-page profiles of the schools with write-ups on their academics, student life, and admissions, plus ratings for academics, selectivity and career placement services.

In the profile, students in UL Lafayette's MBA program said the university is "a really good school", offering a "cozy college atmosphere", where the faculty "really cares about the students."

UL Lafayette's MBA Program is classified as a part-time program, which means that it is designed for the full-time working student. All of courses are offered either in the afternoon or evening, one day a week.

This schedule accommodates student who work full-time while trying to obtain an MBA degree. Approximately 80% of UL Lafayette's MBA students work full-time while obtaining their degree.

" We recommend University of Louisiana at Lafayette's MBA Program to readers of our book and users of our site, www.PrincetonReview.com, as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn an MBA," said Robert Franek, Princeton Review senior vice president publisher.
