Memorial funeral services for Ursula Bordelon Matte, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.

Ms. Matte, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, John Blaine Matte Sr. and special friend Caroline Joan Fontenot of Ville Platte and James Farley Matte and wife Clonia of Morgan City; daughter, Lori Ann Matte and husband Brett of Breaux Bridge; husband, Harold Lavone Fautheree of Ville Platte; sister, Beryl Bordelon Bell and husband Larry of Plano, Texas; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gervais Matte; sons, Nicholas Matte and David Matte; parents, John and Eva Bordelon; sister, Ann Manuel; and grandson, Jordan Matte.
