Mrs. Vivian Fleming Williams, 78, a resident and native of Baldwin, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at 9:10 p.m., at her residence following a short illness.
She is survived by one son, Alfred Williams III and wife, Lindy, of Baldwin; one daughter, Tanya L. Taylor of Canyonville, Oregon; two brothers, Paul J. Landry and wife, Diana, of Baldwin and Charles M. Kately Sr. and wife, Debra, of Houston, Texas; one sister, Jessie M. Fleming LeGrier of Baldwin; six grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, January 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
