The facility, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at U.S. 90, will feature glass walls to display the wetlands between it and Lake Palourde. The $3.89 million project is being completed under the auspice of Washer Hill Lipscomb Cabanis Architects in Baton Rouge. The project is being funded with capital outlay, local funds and Atchafalaya Basin program monies.
