Wilbert “Sonny” Granger Sr., 81, a native and a resident of Morgan City, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 11:06, at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 29 at Church of Christ on Railroad Ave. in Morgan City, at 10 a.m.

Wilbert “Sonny” leaves to cherish his memories five daughters, Patricia Ann Mangum of Houma, Gwendolyn Granger of Whittier, Alaska, Janice Granger and Eileen Bienvenue, both of Morgan City, and Angela Smith of Houston, Texas; three sons, Wilbert Granger Jr. and Paul Garret Sr., both of Morgan City, and Andrew Granger of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of relatives and friends.
