With the first day of the 2011-2012 school year just days away, Morgan City workers are putting a fresh coat of paint on crosswalks. Above are two of the six crosswalks located at the intersection of Brashear and Second streets. Speed limits in the school zones will also go into effect, so drivers will have to make adjustments during the morning and afternoon hours in those areas.
