Warren M. Walker Sr., 70, a native and resident of Morgan City, died at 7:15 a.m. Feb. 8 at his residence.

Visitation will be at New Zorah Baptist Church in Morgan City on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Walker of Morgan City; two sons, Warren M. Walker Jr. of Carencro and Deon R. Chambers of Chicago; five daughters, Candi Walker of Dallas, Annette M Hammond of Savannah, Ga., Delia C. Walker of Morgan City, and Lateshia Koonce and Shabonnie Sheppard, both of Chicago; three sisters, Bertha Mann Chenevert and Sally Ledet, both of Morgan City, and Patricia Stewart Sr. of Baton Rouge; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother and two brothers.
