Reverend Ronald Young of New Iberia and Ms. Darlene Young of Charenton are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Janell Weber to Jarrett Joseph Hill, son of Mr. Alfred Hill and Mrs. Carol Hill of Franklin. The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, October 22 at St. Joseph Baptist Church.

The bride-elect is a graduate of West St. Mary High School and has earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern University and her master’s degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix. She is currently employed by Volunteers of America. Her paternal grandparents are the late Mr. Norvel and the late Mrs. Lula Mitchell Young and her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. Ernest Weber Sr. and Mrs. Dorothy Weber.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Franklin Senior High School and has earned his bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Louisiana. He is currently employed by Smile Community Action Agency in Lafayette and is also self-employed as a bail bondsman. His maternal grandparents are the late Mr. Alfred and the late Mrs. Eva Mae Taylor Hill and his maternal grandparents are the late Mr. Carl C. Foulcard and Mrs. Lydia Delasbour Foulcard.
