NEW IBERIA _ Christopher Jones and David Robertson led the West St. Mary Wolfpack to a 45-38 victory over the Catholic High of New Iberia Panthers in District 6-2A here Tuesday at the CHSNI Gym.

Jones tossed in 13 points while Robertson fired in 10 to propel the Wolfpack.

West St. Mary grabbed a 9-7 lead at the first quarter before securing a 21-16 halftime lead. West St. Mary held a 40-25 advantage at the end of the third quarter before icing away the 45-38 triumph.

Jones pumped in 13 points on six field goals and 1 of 1 free throws while Robertson bagged a pair of treys, one deuce and 2 of 2 charity shots.

Other top scorers for the Wolfpack were: Thaddeus Gabriel, 8; Glenn Marsh, 3; Adonis Sterling, 3; Jeremiah White, 3; Desmond Anderson, 2; Travis Jones, 2, and Kyler Jackson, 2.

West St. Mary (4-0 in district play) will play host to Delcambre on Friday in league action.
