Prince Hall Masons of Louisiana and Esther Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star celebrates 150 and 75 years, respectively, of Free Masons with Fellowship Day 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Hattie Watts Elementary School, Patterson and a service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at Good Hope Baptist Church, Patterson. Wreaths Across America, to honor veterans for Christmas, 2 p.m. Dec. 14, at Maison Jardin Assisted Living, Morgan City. Seven ceremonial wreaths will be placed to remember those who served. Specifically designated wreaths for service branch and POW/MIA placed under the “memorial oak” to remember those who served.
