Whitney Noel Beverly Sr., 76, a Franklin native and resident, died Dec. 2 at his residence at 11:55 p.m.

Visitation will be Saturday at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the St. Jules Cemetery in Franklin.

Beverly was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Howard Beverly of Franklin; two sons, Whitney Noel Beverly Jr. of Vancleave, Miss., and Sheldon Troy Beverly of Studio City, Calif.; one brother, Stanley Beverly of Franklin; one sister, Marjorie Beverly Thomas of Franklin; two grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends; a sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a special friend.

Beverly was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
