Anntionette Roberson, 29, of Monroe, was arrested on aggravated battery domestic violence for allegedly hitting her boyfriend several times with the handle.
The alleged victim stated to deputies that his live-in girlfriend of three years hit him with the mop and also hit and scratched him.
According to an arrest report, Roberson told deputies she discovered the victim was cheating on her.
Roberson said while the victim was sleeping she hit him several times in the face and body. An arrest affidavit stated the suspect said she then picked up the mop and hit him several times.
