X-PLOSION BASEBALL 10U, a travel team comprised of youngsters from Berwick, Patterson and Franklin, placed second in the Moment in the Sun II tournament in Gonzales Oct. 13 and 14. The team also placed second in the Halloween Classic NIT in Thibodaux Saturday and Sunday. The squad is 5-3-1 this fall. Team members include, kneeling, Trevor Wiggins, Clay Menard, Parker Kulka, Matthew Broussard, Kaden Samuels and Robert Conner. On the second row are Andrew Smith, Kaeden King, Reid Perkins, Don Diaz, Ryan Domingue and Joseph Larson. The squad is led by head coach John Menard and assistant coaches, Kevin Kulka and Joey Larson.
