The 2013 Red Ribbon Drawing Contest grand champion was Kristen Theriot, seventh grade at Berwick Junior High, while the Slogan Contest winner was Dwaylen Spain, 11th grade at West St. Mary High. Other drawing contest winners were Rodney Colbert, eighth grade, Franklin Junior; Madelyn Harrington, fifth grade, Patterson Junior; Alivia Crappell, first grade, Berwick Elementary; Aiyana Brent, ninth grade, Franklin High; Emma Grace Clements, second grade, St. John Elementary; Terrance Matthews, ninth grade, West St. Mary; Aidan Bennett, sixth grade, Berwick Junior High; Annabel Picard, 12th grade, Franklin High; JaQuinton Washington, sixth grade, Patterson Junior; Tania Boudreaux, 10th grade, Franklin High; Emily Rogers, fifth grade, St. John Elementary; and Shannon Owens, paraprofessional, Bayou Vista Elementary. Their work will be featured in the Red Ribbon calendar for the coming year.
