Officials from the state’s Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration presented the draft of Louisiana’s Master Plan to community leaders and members of the public Tuesday at the Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District’s office. The plan, subject to legislative approval during the upcoming session, will be used to guide coastal protection and restoration in the state during the next five years. Above, CPRA Executive Director Jerome Zeringue addresses the group during the meeting. Visit www.stmarynow.com for a look at the local plans included in the proposed Master Plan.
